Why Should I?

Tommie Smith

Most people think of their home as their castle and to a burglar your home is his castle too. It’s a place filled with jewelry, televisions, stereos, guns, computers, ect. The intruder is looking for anything he can sell or trade for drugs.

The FEDERAL BUREAU OF JUSTICE STATISTICS reported that “Members of the American household are more likely to be raped, robbed, or assaulted than to experience a household fire or be injured in an auto accident”.

In America, one serious crime is committed every two seconds. Most break-ins occur through a door rather than a window. Burglars find it much easier to open a door that to bother with broken glass at a window.

Every potential intruder has a “key” to your home. It can be purchased at any hardware store. It’s called a crowbar. Once inside this key becomes a weapon.

The most dangerous time for you and your family is when you leave home, even for a few minutes, you come back to find two or three drug addicts inside.

The intruders are usually armed with a knife, gun or a crowbar. They have all the advantages and they don’t care who they hurt or what they have to do to keep from getting caught and going to jail.

Another problem we have is fire which can take everything you have, including un-replaceable things such as family pictures. And remember, local smoke detectors are useless if you are not at home. That’s why it’s important to have several smoke detectors wired into your Security System to notify the fire department.

They say experience is the best teacher. However, if you talk to someone who’s experienced a break-in or a fire. They’ll tell you it’s better to learn from someone else’s experience.

Most experts agree that an alarm system is one of the best investments a homeowner can make. Insurance companies agree or they wouldn’t give you a discount on your homeowner’s insurance. Don’t take unnecessary chances! Have an alarm system installed today.
